WHEN I was a little boy, everybody had a paint project on their facade or house and coat after coat of paint year by year adds up to a lovely neighborhood, but you can never go lax on the fix ups or scrimp on money because it will go south again quick, like a bed of roses that evveryone used to have out front. But it is easy to catch up and restore a block, no slackers.
