York Minster en.wikipedia.org/wiki/York_Minster. Like most Cathedrals of it's time, it's been burned down, otherwise destroyed and rebuilt roughly seven million times, but there has been a place of worship on this site in one form or another since 627 AD.

Thinking of coming to York this winter? Be prepared for icy pavements then. Even in tourist areas, round the theatre, bus stops etc.The pavements go ungritted. Walk on them at your own risk. If the city centre streets have been treated the car parks and streets leading into the centre have not been. What a let down!

420 Pro-pot Rally

Just got back from this. :) The 420 pro-marijuana rally in Toronto: www.420magazine.com/forums/general-420-talk/73848-april-20th-2008-college-park-420-yonge-street-toronto.html Usually held at College Park, or 420 Yonge Street (hence the name), organizers decided to hold it at Yonge-Dundas Square this year. They had a good crowd (about 5,000),...
