Lost faith in the U.S. Postal Service? Just be more patient... Thanks to the dedication of Franny Wentzel (see her article To Mrs. Harry Seaman, this reached the family of its intended recipient, , only 74 years late. Sadly, Mrs. Seaman--my grandmother--passed away in 1998. However, you may be relieved to know that Mildred and Petey (not Patsy) both recovered just fine. In fact, Petey--my uncle Pete--is alive and well and living in Rushville, NY with his wife and granddaughter, his son and daughter-in-law nearby.
