This is inspired by Franny's posts and the America's Most Boring Towns posts. In the summer of 1961, my grandparents went on what was probably their first trip away from home. They lived in western Québec, just across the river from Ottawa (Ontario), and headed east and north, along the north shore of the St. Lawrence seaway. And they sent home motel postcards!
