There are often considerable lines and waiting times at a mega snow-cone stand that sells perverse junk food items. The dishes consist of popular single junk food items that were probably never meant to go together. How this trend got started I can only guess—and my guess is that these concoctions are “Diablitos” (english translation: little devils) evolved. Diablitos, which are a relatively eccentric junk food item themselves, are popular snow cones in Mexico. Ingredients vary, but they generally consist of crushed ice, with freshly a freshley-squeezed-lemon-juice base, sprinkled with chilli powder and salt on top....
